In order to be licensed as a naturopathic doctor in the state of New Hampshire, a stringent set of requirements must be met including graduation from an accredited naturopathic school and the passing of rigorous Naturopathic board exams.
In addition, each licensee must be in good moral and legal standing. Maintaining an active license requires the yearly completion of continuing education.
Naturopathic doctors are required to display their license in the office. There are people who claim to be naturopathic doctors (NDs) who have not met these requirements. It is always within your right, and advisable, to confirm that your doctor is indeed licensed in New Hampshire.
